Small apartment in historic building characterized by very high ceilings with wooden beams and support barbicans.
The renovation did not include the remaking of the existing parquet because it was still in excellent condition. The integration of the electrical system therefore had to run externally, on the wall: this problem was transformed into a characterizing motif. I made a drywall curb that runs around half the perimeter of the living room; the extension cables of the electrical system run inside, while on the upper edge a led, with adjustable intensity, can light up the ceiling. In addition to the ambient light, I also created a decorative light with a second LED, inside the curb: the light filters through the holes in the band and creates plays of light. You can choose the type of light and its intensity depending on the moment and your mood.
Color palette in shades of grey/blue.
